Its official, winter’s here but don’t let the dull grey days bring you down! We have some fantastic deals for men and women this month, as well as the latest winter trends from Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.

Well done to Olivia who has successfully completed an in-depth management training program and has now been promoted to Salon Manager.
We welcome Felicity to the team as our new Salon Coordinator. With over 12 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Felicity is a wonderful asset to the Salon. Her delightful personality and beautiful smile will greet you over the phone and when you arrive at reception. Felicity prides herself on providing exceptional customer service – as do all of us at Mieka.
Lucas has just returned to the Salon following his stint at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week where he was a part of the hair team for over 15 shows.
RAFW also saw Tracey act as the Hair Director for numerous designers including Miss Couture, Flowers for a vagabond, Plasidapparel, Khrysalis, NathanPaul swimwear, Emma Veall, Garth Cook, Luisa Fredrica, Sim.me.ri.an and By Johnny.
We bid a sad farewell to Chontelle and wish her good luck and happiness.
WINTER TRENDS
Fashion Week had numerous trends on display including beautiful high ponytails, super shiny slicked back hair with poker straight lengths and voluminous soft curls.
Haircuts juxtaposed classic geometric shapes with plenty of movement internally. Longer fringes prevailed with shorter backs and sides, along with modernized bobs.
Colour trends are diverse this season with shades of reds dominating. Blondes are warmer for winter, with hints of lightness blending in the ends only, whilst brunettes are full of rich velvety tones.
